Each piece is made individually from wood selected for grain and interest. Epoxy infill is used on some pieces.

Grain patterns, sizes and unique features will vary.

Cutting boards and serving boards are finished with food safe beeswax.

I am a retired academic indulging in a life long interest in making things especially with wood

I am currently working on building unique boxes, cutting boards and serving boards.

I tend to use woods native to Vancouver Island, BC, Canada.

Other woods are only used if they are salvaged pieces or wood from non-native trees grown and felled on the Island
